Certified Group Psychotherapist (CGP) Advisor Program
Interested in becoming a Certified Group Psychotherapist but not exactly sure how to do this? Participate in the CGP Advisor Program and learn from those who are already recognized as specialists in group psychotherapy. The Advisor Program is a wonderful way to learn about the CGP and provide support and guidance to you in becoming part of our professional community.
When you join, a professional CGP Advisor will be assigned to you to help you navigate the certification process.
More specifically, this could mean helping you to understand the certification requirements, advisement on where to obtain resources and regular encouragement toward pursuing your CGP.
The advisor assigned to you will:
- Contact you directly
- Review where you are in the certification process and develop a plan with you to meet the clinical and supervisory requirements, including a timeline
- Assist you as needed in obtaining required criteria
- Be available and timely in responses to your questions and needs.
