The Group Foundation for Advancing Mental Health announced on September 10, 2024, the establishment of two endowments to honor Sally B. Henry, LCSW, a dedicated AGPA member and Group Foundation Board member who passed away in 2020. Funded by her generous bequest, the Sally B. Henry Endowment Fund will support the Institute Opening Plenary session at the annual AGPA Connect, starting March 4, 2025, in San Francisco, CA, reflecting her commitment to experiential group training. The Sally B. Henry International Scholarship will annually support at least one international attendee at AGPA Connect and/or provide e-learning and certification support for group therapy training, debuting in 2025 as part of the Foundation’s scholarship program. These initiatives celebrate Henry’s lifelong dedication to advancing group psychotherapy education and training globally.
