The Group Foundation Scholarship Program
The communities in which we live and work are facing a mental health crisis in which there is a great need for services and a shortage of providers. The Group Foundation addresses this crisis by funding the training of the next generation of group therapists, increasing providers in the mental health workforce trained to use groups, an effective and efficient treatment that helps increase access to services. It also funds training in the area of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to insure a culturally responsive workforce.
Almost 300 students and early professionals are attending AGPA Connect 2026 with assistance from the Group Foundation. Take a few moments to read the Spring Issue of Group Assets, where several scholarship recipients share their experience attending AGPA Connect. The comments are heartwarming — the experiences transformative.
